Cubs fans were dancing in the streets Tuesday night after the team clinched a postseason series at Wrigley Field for the first time in history.

With a 6-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals, the Chicago Cubs advance to the National League Championship Series, where they will play the winner of the Mets-Dodgers series.

Shortly after the victory, fans poured into the intersection at Addison and Clark, waving "W" flags and celebrating the history-making win.

"I've been in Chicago, I'm a Cubs fan my whole life, and I've been waiting years for this to happen. And that's a long time!" said one woman.

The Cubs won the National League Division Series 3-1.
