Ohio governor and Republican presidential hopeful, John Kasich, made his fifth visit to Iowa on Wednesday, September 30, 2015, stopping at St. Ambrose University in Davenport.

Kasich touted his successful background of balancing a federal budget, while touching on the hot topics such as national security, the Affordable Health Care Act and illegal immigration.

The Republican candidate told the crowd he would try to repeal universal healthcare in the United States, saying what the United Stated should focus on is "driving quality medicine, not quantity medicine."

When asked by a member of the audience about how he would tackle the issue of illegal immigration, Kasich said he would finish building a wall around Mexico, while granting illegal immigrants already in the United States a path to citizenship, unless they have broken the law.

In the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, Kasich is polling at 6 percent, trailing Donald Trump (21 percent), Ben Carson (20 percent), Marco Rubio (11 percent), Carly Fiorina (11 percent) and Jeb Bush (7 percent).
