World famous architect Sir David Chipperfield returned to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his Quad Cities creation, the Figge Museum.

The September 10, 2015 visit is the first time Chipperfield has been in Davenport since he designed the museum a decade ago.

The renowned British architect planned to share his vision for the building, and how it was built, at an evening reception recognizing the museum's tenth anniversary.  An anniversary dinner was also planned as part of the festivities for Friday, September 11.

Chipperfield said he was pleased to see his project still thriving in the Quad Cities, and that he's proud of the impact of the Figge in our area.
