Port Byron Wins 2015 Tug Fest 11-0

There was a battle across the Mississippi River on Saturday, August 15, 2015. Teams from both Iowa and Illinois battled it out during the 29th annual Tug Fest.

The event kicked off just after noon Saturday, with teams in both LeClaire and Port Byron fighting for the 'Alabaster Eagle in Flight' trophy. The event, ended up not being close.

"It was 11 to zero," Port Byron Tug Fest Participant Daltin Kalvon said. "Every team did their part, and that was the result in the end. That's what you get."

Illinois was the winner in 2014. Iowa was the winner the year before. The Moonshine Run continues until 9 p.m. Saturday at the gazebo and stage in Port Byron.
