It's not just Father's Day. It's also World Giraffe Day.
On Sunday, June 21st, 2015, Niabi Zoo celebrated the holiday by allowing visitors to get up close and personal with the tall animals.
"We got to feed the giraffe," explained Marcy Fischer. "They like lettuce and you can buy the lettuce pieces and they come right up with their long tongue and wrap it around and take it from you. They're really cute. They have huge heads, though."
World Giraffe Day is an initiative of the Giraffe Conservation Foundation to celebrate the longest-necked animal on the longest day of the year.
