Caprese Slider
What you'll need:
- Crostini Bread 5/8” Thick 4 Slices
- Fresh Mozzarella, Sliced 4 wz.
- Roma Tomato, Sliced 6 Slices
- Fresh Basil 4 Leaves
- Balsamic Reduction 2 tsp.
- Shredded Mozzarella 1 wz.
- Pesto, Thinned with Oil 2 Tbsp.
How it's made:
- Brush bread with pesto and grill on flattop.
- While grilling, place cheeses on bread.
- Place bread under salamander to melt cheese.
- Lay tomatoes on melted cheese, top with balsamic reduction and fresh basil.
- Present as shown in photo.
Ahi Caprese Salad
What you'll need:
- Tuna, Grilled 4 wz.
- Salt and Pepper
- Heart n Heart Mix 2 wz.
- Roma Tomatoes, 4 Slices - Sliced 1/4"
- Fresh Mozzarella, 4 Slices - Sliced 1/4"
- Balsamic Vinaigrette 1 fz.
- Balsamic Reduction Drizzle
- Capers 1 tsp.
- Basil, Fresh, Chiffonade 1 Tbsp.
- Infused Olive Oil 1 Tbsp.
How it's made:
- Marinate the Ahi Tuna in Italian dressing for at least 2 hours. Using a hot pan, sear the tuna for about 30 seconds on each side.
- 2. Place a ring of alternating cheese and tomatoes on plate. Dress with capers, olive oil, basil and salt and pepper.
- 3. Toss greens with balsamic vinaigrette and arrange atop tomatoes/cheese - stack tall! Drizzle with balsamic reduction.
- 4. Slice tuna into 4 pieces and present as shown in photo.
