Caprese Slider 

What you'll need:

  • Crostini Bread 5/8” Thick 4 Slices
  • Fresh Mozzarella, Sliced 4 wz.
  • Roma Tomato, Sliced 6 Slices
  • Fresh Basil 4 Leaves
  • Balsamic Reduction 2 tsp.
  • Shredded Mozzarella 1 wz.
  • Pesto, Thinned with Oil 2 Tbsp.

How it's made:

  1. Brush bread with pesto and grill on flattop.
  2. While grilling, place cheeses on bread.
  3. Place bread under salamander to melt cheese.
  4. Lay tomatoes on melted cheese, top with balsamic reduction and fresh basil.
  5. Present as shown in photo.

Ahi Caprese Salad

What you'll need:

  • Tuna, Grilled 4 wz.
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Heart n Heart Mix 2 wz.
  • Roma Tomatoes, 4 Slices - Sliced 1/4"
  • Fresh Mozzarella, 4 Slices - Sliced 1/4"
  • Balsamic Vinaigrette 1 fz.
  • Balsamic Reduction Drizzle
  • Capers 1 tsp.
  • Basil, Fresh, Chiffonade 1 Tbsp.
  • Infused Olive Oil 1 Tbsp.

How it's made:

  1. Marinate the Ahi Tuna in Italian dressing for at least 2 hours.  Using a hot pan, sear the tuna for about 30 seconds on each side.
  2. 2. Place a ring of alternating cheese and tomatoes on plate. Dress with capers, olive oil, basil and salt and pepper.
  3. 3. Toss greens with balsamic vinaigrette and arrange atop tomatoes/cheese - stack tall! Drizzle with balsamic reduction.
  4. 4. Slice tuna into 4 pieces and present as shown in photo.
