The damage was done to a storage facility on Pine Street around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014, according to a statement from Captain Dale Sievert with the Davenport Police.

Sievert said about 75-percent of the vehicle went through the east wall of the office building, which is made of block and mortar.

“At this point the crash is being investigated as a hit and run by the Davenport Police Department Crash Investigation Unit,” Sievert said in his statement.

If you have any information about the crash, you are asked to call the Davenport Police Department.
