One person was hospitalized after a vehicle left the roadway on I-280.
Several departments responded to the Rock Island County crash shortly before 3 p.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014.
The driver was reportedly headed westbound on I-280, roughly two miles east of the I-74 exit, when the vehicle left the roadway, crashing into a wooded area.
Around 3:30 p.m. traffic was moving slowly and was down to one lane, but cars were not backed up.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
