Knox County veterans now have a way to save some cash when they shop locally.

A program called “Honor Rewards” allows local veterans to sign up for a discount card which will get them several discounts from Knox County businesses.

“The program started offering discounts the beginning of August and I hope that all our local veterans will take advantage of this savings opportunity,” said County Recorder Carol Hallam. “This is a win-win situation for both the business and the veteran.”
