June 19, 2014 marks a milestone for News 8 reporter John David, who is celebrating his 25th year with the station.
John David joined WQAD in 1989, starting as the weather anchor for weekends and the mid-day show, as he transitioned into reporting.
In 2006, he won several awards for his documentary on jobs after the Maytag plant closed in Galesburg. He also spent time in Canada for a documentary about Universal Healthcare.
