Area police run to support Special Olympics

Area police ran from courthouse to courthouse in support of the Special Olympics

Officers participating in the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run ran from the Rock Island County Courthouse to the Knox County Courthouse Wednesday, June 11, 2014.

Before the run, officers were able to raise $1,250 when they teamed up with Dunkin' Donuts for a day to raise awareness of their cause. If you would like to help donate to the Special Olympics – click here.

Officers from Moline, Rock Island, Silvis, East Moline, Galesburg, Coal Valley, and Henry County participated in the run.
