Police Investigating Two Deaths at a Geneseo Home

Geneseo Police are investigating the deaths of a mother and son.

Geneseo Police and swat members responded to a call in the 600 block of East Pearl Street around 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2014. Neighbors reported hearing gun shots in the area.

Police also confirmed receiving calls about someone with a gun at the home. Once police arrived, they found both 84-year-old Alice V. Jolly and her son 64-year-old Donald E. Jolly dead inside the home.

Geneseo Chief of Police Thomas Piotrowski said autopsies were scheduled for Saturday afternoon, May 31.

Police said they were not seeking others in the incident and it was not a threat to the public.
