After completing his junior year at the University of Illinois, 2010 Moline High School graduate Thomas Lindauer signed with the Houston Astros. Now Lindauer will make his professional debut with the Quad Cities River Bandits.  The Moline-native did not make the team when they broke camp back in April and had to go to extended spring training in Florida.

Injuries to two current Bandits players, Jack Mayfield and Austin Elkins, opened up a spot for Lindauer with his hometown team. Playing professionally has always been a dream of Lindauer's and now he gets a chance to play in front of family and friends.
