When the court says you can’t drink while you’re on probation, you might not brag about drinking on Facebook.

Colleen Cudney, 22, was on probation after being convicted of drunk driving in Michigan in 2012. Her probation requirements included not drinking and submitting to random alcohol testing.

Cudney had to take a breathalyzer test the day after St. Patrick’s Day.
She may have passed the test, but her Facebook post about the experience may cost her.

“Buzz killer for me, I had to breatalyze (sic) this morning and I drank yesterday but I passed thank god lol my dumba@@,” she posted according to a report from Local 4 in Detroit.

Word of the post got back to the probation office, and they called her to return for a urine test. That test would have detected whether Cudney had any alcohol in the 80 hours prior to testing.

Local 4 said Cudney hung up on the probation officer’s call.  That was a violation of her probation which, the report said, was set to end in a few weeks.

Now, she faces the potential for 93 days in jail.

Cudney was scheduled to appear in court April 1 for a probation hearing.
