When police tried to pull him over, McArtor-Tank managed to evade them four times, according to a spokesman for East Moline Police.  On the first of those attempts, McArtor-Tank allegedly drove straight at a patrol car.

Police said Thursday, March 20, they had found the girlfriend’s SUV but they were still searching for McArtor-Tank.

Jail records indicated he was in the Rock Island County Jail on Friday, March 21.

A woman who identified herself as his mother said McArtor-Tank turned himself in to police.

Court records show McArtor-Tank faced charges from a February 25, 2014 incident which included felony charges of manufacturing/delivery of cannabis and possession of a controlled substance; a misdemeanor charge for possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic citations for operating an uninsured vehicle, unsafe opening/closing a vehicle door, driving on a suspended license and failure to wear a required seat belt.

Court records were updated Friday afternoon, March 21, to show McArtor-Tank faces several charges in connection with the March 17 incident.  Those charges include one felony count of possession of a stolen vehicle, two misdemeanor counts of attempting to elude a police officer and one misdemeanor count of reckless driving.

McArtor-Tank was held in the Rock Island County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bond.
