Police say a teenage boy was taken into custody after burglarizing two Dixon buildings in the same day.

Police say a teenage boy was taken into custody after burglarizing two Dixon buildings in the same day.

Dixon Police Chief Danny Langloss, Jr. said the 17-year-old boy was arrested around 4 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2014. Police had reported to a burglary in progress at Bunny’s Bait Shop and found the teen inside.  Investigators said earlier that morning, the teen had also burglarized the Dixon Park District Maintenance building.

Langloss said the teen was charged with three counts of burglary, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, and possession of burglary tools.

Police said they expect more arrests to be made during the investigation.
