Witnesses said flames were seen inside an apartment building in East Moline near United Township High School.
A visitor to Colonial House Apartments on Avenue of the Cities said Wednesday, March 12, 2014 that he found fire in the basement storage room and tried to find a manager. He then began knocking on doors to get everyone out.
It is unknown if there were any injuries.
