It was a second chance for Bettendorf basketball as the boys played in the quarterfinals in Des Moines. This time, they advanced.
Wednesday, March 12, 2014, Bettendorf played against Urbandale at the Wells Fargo Arena.
Bettendorf held a lead throughout the whole game. The dogs were up 33-14 at the half and continued that momentum through the third quarter leading 44-23. Bettendorf finished up with a 64-33 win.
Next the Bulldogs move into the semifinals against Iowa City West, the same match up as the previous year; Iowa City West was victorious in 2013. The game was scheduled for Friday, March 14.
