Jake Owen, Boston to play at 2014 Illinois State Fair

The 2014 Illinois State Fair isn’t until August, but some Grandstand acts are already set.

Some Grandstand acts are ready and booked for the 2014 Illinois State Fair.

A spokesperson from the Illinois State Fair said country singer Jake Owen and rock band Boston will perform at the fair, which was scheduled from August 7 – 17.

Boston will play on Tuesday, August 12 with Canadian rock group April Wine and a British glam band called Sweet. Tickets for the concert will range from $17 – $37.

Owen will perform on Saturday, August 16 with Parmalee and The Cadillac Three. Tickets range from $15 – $35 for the show.

Florida Georgia Line had been scheduled for Sunday, August 10 and rapper Colt Ford was set to be the concert opener. Tickets for that show are priced from $30 – $55.

Million Dollar Quartet was scheduled for Monday, August 11. According to the state fair’s website that show was free.

Tickets will go on sale Saturday, April 12 at 10 a.m. Fair-goers can buy tickets through Ticketmaster or from the Grandstand box office beginning Monday, June 9.
