Moline man wanted for alleged rapes and home invasion

Police said they were searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting one woman in Rock Island and one woman in Moline.

Police said they were searching for a man accused of sexually assaulting one woman in Rock Island and one woman in Moline.

Ervin James Conner, 29, of Moline, was accused of raping a woman by use of force in Rock Island in 2007.  Conner is also accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her Moline home October 6, 2013.

Police said Conner is charged February 11, 2014, in Rock Island Count, with criminal sexual assault, home invasion and aggravated criminal sexual assault.  An arrest warrant was issued that same date, and bond was set at $500,000 for each of the two cases.

Police said February 18 that Conner was still at large.
