Quad City kids upheld a Christmas tradition in their jammies.

The Putnam Museum in Davenport held its traditional Polar Express 3D Pajama Party for Quad City kids and their families.

On Saturday and Sunday, December 21 and 22, 2013 the museum presented the Christmas film on their GIANT Screen Theater. Hot chocolate, face painting, and other holiday activities were offered. There was also a lights-out visit to the exhibits, with flashlights of course.

"We've heard from so many people that come to this that this movie has just become a family tradition for them at the holidays," said Kim Nickels from the Putnam Museum.

She said she's seen some families there year-after-year for seven years.
