A Rock Falls man was arrested for allegedly firing shots into a Sterling apartment.
According to the Sterling Police Department, on Saturday, November 16 around 1:30 p.m. police received a call saying that someone had fired two shots into an apartment. After arriving, officers were able to find the suspect, 24-year-old Zachary A. Wade who was a few blocks away from the apartment.
Officials said Wade was arrested for aggravated discharge of a firearm, possession of a firearm with no FOID card, and unlawful use of weapons. He was taken to the Whiteside County Jail.
There were no injuries reported in the incident.
