DeWayne Hopkins wins reelection for mayor of Muscatine

The incumbent in Muscatine’s race for mayor, DeWane M. Hopkins was reelected with over 80 percent of the vote.

The incumbent in Muscatine’s race for mayor, DeWane M. Hopkins was reelected with over 80 percent of the vote.

According to results posted by Muscatine County, Hopkins received 622 votes on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. Opponent, Roger Roth received about 15 percent of the votes, 117 votes.

Nine percent of Muscatine residents’ votes went to write-in candidates.

Of the 21,311 registered voters there were 1,193 ballots cast during the City General Election.
