A house fire left a Coal Valley family out in the cold.

Firefighters were called to a home on Route 150 just west of Third Street around 11 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2013.

Heavy fire was reportedly visible when firefighters arrived, and at least five fire departments responded to help Coal Valley firefighters battle the blaze.

Firefighters said everyone was out of the home when they arrived, and that no one was hurt.

The firefighters put the fire out in less than 30 minutes, but there was still extensive damage to the home.
