The River Bend Food Bank is getting a big donation thanks, in part, to Disney.
On Saturday, October 19th, 2013, the iWireless Center and Disney on Ice held a food drive. For three canned items, families received a free voucher to opening night of Disney on Ice.
"It's a great cause especially around this holiday season, so we wanted to make sure that every family was taken care of," says Ashley Walding, Marketing Coordinator and Group Sales Manager for the iWireless Center. "Disney on Ice is really about bettering the communities that they come into so River Bend Food Bank is a great partner for us."
Disney on Ice normally comes to the Quad Cities in December, but this year, its seven performances will take place at the iWireless Center November 14th-17th.
