An East Moline company has plans to expand, which will in turn bring in over 100 jobs.
Material Control Systems Inc. of MATCON is building a logistics facility in East Moline. On Tuesday, September 24, 2013 Illinois Governor Pat Quinn was in town for the announcement.
“This is the kind of 21st century job creation we got to focus on over and over again,” Quinn said. “Good skills workers are the heart and soul of this company and we’ve got to keep on making sure we have good jobs for everybody.”
MATCON is planning to hire about 150 new employees in the Quad Cities.
