Going from the low 90s to the low 70s in less than 24 hours is a big difference but that’s September for you. September is known for having a fluctuation in temperatures. We will see some pretty bug contrasts in highs and lows the next couple of days.

Sunday morning’s low are forecast to be in the upper 30s and low 40s. It’s definitely beginning to feel a lot like fall and it’s almost “officially” here. Fall, or the Autumnal Equinox begins at 3:44 CDT on Sunday.

During the Autumnal Equinox there is nearly an equal amount of daylight and darkness at all latitudes. This is due to the refraction of sunlight that causes the sun to appear above the horizon when it is really below the horizon.
