Burn bans that were prompted by drought and brush fires have been lifted for local counties.
Clinton, Muscatine, Scott and Louisa Counties have lifted their burn bans. Oquawka’s burn ban, which began on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 have been lifted by the Oquawka Volunteer Fire Department.
Muscatine, Scott, and Clinton County’s burns ban began on Wednesday, September 11. Louisa County’s started on Thursday.
