Rock Island County's Relay for Life is taking place on Saturday, September 14th, 2013 at Browning Field in Moline.
More than 30 teams are rounding the track again and again, starting at 3pm on Saturday and continuing through the night.
Combined, the teams have raised nearly $70,000 in pledges to support cancer research.
"Everybody's been working year round to plan this event and the teams have been fundraising all year, so chances are you have seen some Relay for Life fundraisers out in the community," says Stacy Dutton from The American Cancer Society.
Scott County's Relay for Life takes place in April every year.
