General Mills has voluntarily recalled a limited number of Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls because the dough could contain plastic fragments.
A statement from the Food and Drug Administration said the recall involves Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing single rolls with “Better if Used by” dates of 10OCT2013 and 31OCT2013 on the package; and Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls with Icing two-roll packs with “Better if Used by” dates of 18OCT2013, 25OCT2013 and 31OCT2013.
The dough may contain fragments from a broken piece of plastic found on the production line during manufacturing.
No other flavors or varieties of Pillsbury cinnamon rolls or dough products are included in the recall. Pillsbury Flaky Cinnamon Rolls and Pillsbury Grands! Cinnamon Rolls are not part of the recall.
