A Davenport, Iowa woman faces three counts of child endangerment with injury after she allegedly beat three children under the age of 10.

Susanna Michele Miller, 35, was arrested and charged Friday, August 23, 2013.

Miller was reportedly the primary caregiver for her boyfriend’s children who are ages 3, 6 and 9 years.  The Quad City Times reported witnesses told police “they have seen Miller physically assaulting the three children over the past several months.”

Jail records show Miller spent less than three hours in the Scott County Jail before she was released on $5,000 bond.

Court records show she was appointed a public defender at her first appearance in Scott County Court for the case Tuesday, August 27.
