The Moline Police Department and Moline Public Schools are increasing security after two strangers approached two female students Friday morning.

As previously reported, one of the incidents happened near Wilson Middle School. In that incident, police arrested 23-year-old Derek Argo.

The other incident happened near John Deere Middle School Friday morning. Another stranger approached a female student walking toward the school. She was unharmed, but parents were furious over what happened.

"It's unthinkable," school parent Melissa Pate said. "I mean how sick do you have to be to do that?"

Police "will increase patrols in the area" of schools, according to Captain Trevor Fisk. They're also looking for the public's help in finding the second suspect.

That suspect is a white male, believed to be in his 20's. He is tall and thin. He was also wearing a bandana and blue jeans at the time of the incident. If you have any more information, you're asked to call the Moline Police Department at 309-797-0401 or Crime Stoppers at 309-762-9500.
