More than a dozen volunteers from the Quad Cities and Dubuque, IA are in Moore, Oklahoma this week. For many it’s a return trip after their last mission trip in the days after the May 2013 tornado.

During their last visit, the group from Adventure Christian Church in Davenport cooked hundreds of hot dogs and hamburgers to serve to the families and fellow volunteers. This time they’re really getting their hands dirty, helping demolish the gutted homes.

Here’s video sent to News 8 by Pastor Tony Liston of the demolition.

The group is also seeing how many areas have changed since their last visit, including the massive memorial at the Plaza Towers Elementary School, where 7 children died.
