A cool front has just swept through the area and has positioned itself down to our south. This will steer the oppressive humidity away and allow some slightly cooler, less humid air to slowly spill in behind it.
We'll start off a bit muggy before it become less noticeable by the afternoon as temperatures climb around the mid 80s. Beautiful summer weather both Thursday and Friday with sunshine and highs in the lower 80s. By the weekend, moderate heat and humidity will return in the area but the sunny skies will prevail.
