A Charlotte, Iowa man died after losing control of a go-cart at a Dells amusement park in Wisconsin.
According to a report by the QC Times, the accident occurred on Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at Alligator Alley Adventures Go-Kart Track.
Officials say the man lost control of the go-cart and hit a wooden post along the track. Police were told that no other go-carts were near him when he crashed, according to the report. He was pronounced dead at the scene less than an hour after the accident.
According to the Lake Delton Police, the man has been identified as Wade Wiese. Inspectors were investigating the incident on Friday and were expected to continue into the following week.
