Nearly 100 of the rarest vintage vehicles are sitting in LeClaire Park tonight as part of a nationwide event called the Great Race, hosted by the 2013 Hemmings Motor News.

The Quad Cities is one of the overnight stops on Sunday, June 23rd, 2013 as the classic cars travel from Saint Paul, Minnesota to Mobile, Alabama.

The time, speed, and endurance road rally first made a fuel stop at the Iowa 80 Truckstop before parading down Harrison Street to LeClaire Park.

The vehicles also include muscle cars, brass-era cars, and horseless carriages ranging in age from 44 to 106 years old. Most were manufactured before World War II.
