For the second time in less than a week, a fisherman found a body floating in the Des Moines River.

The discovery was reported at about 8:45 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2013.  The fisherman reported seeing the body near the Harriet Boat Ramp in southeast Des Moines, Iowa.

WHO-TV reported police identified the body as 35-year-old Zachary Johnson of Des Moines.  There was no obvious immediate sign of trauma to Johnson’s body, and an autopsy was expected to be performed Tuesday.

This was the second such discovery in less than a week.   The body of missing 15-year-old Kathlynn Shepard was found in a log jam in the Des Moines River under the Kate Shelley High Bridge on Friday, June 7, 2013.
