A Davenport school is sending a fuzzy friend to Oklahoma tornado victims to offer them some help and comfort.

A Davenport school is sending a fuzzy friend to Oklahoma tornado victims to offer them some help and comfort.

Trinity Lutheran School’s comfort dog, Gracie, is heading to Moore, Oklahoma on Friday, May 31. The dog can provide care and comfort to residents whose lives were uprooted after a severe tornado tore through on Monday, May 20, 2013.

Gracie will be accompanied by Trinity’s principal, Bill Meyer and fifth-grade teacher, Rick Holste. The three planned to be in Oklahoma for one week.
