A Davenport woman faces one count of felony child endangerment after she allegedly hit the back of a child’s bare legs with a belt.

Amber Holcomb, 22, was arrested Friday, May 10, 2013.  She was charged with child endangerment with bodily injury after she allegedly used the belt on a 10-year-old child she was babysitting.

Holcomb was still held in the Scott County Jail Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in lieu of $5,000 bond.  She was appointed a public defender, ordered to have no contact with her alleged victim and next scheduled to appear in court June 6.
