As graduates go their separate ways they share one final day together to celebrate their hard work.

“You just never think that this day is actually going to come with all the hard work you put into it,” said graduate, Emilie Minteer. “It’s been a lot of hard work, a lot of blood, sweat, and tears, but Ambrose has been helping me throughout the way.”

Two of WQAD's own graduated on Saturday, Sara Clifton "magna cum laude" and Tim McNicholas, both receiving degrees in Journalism, Radio and Television.

Of the graduates, 470 received bachelor’s degrees, 200 earned their master’s, and nine got their doctoral degrees.
