Johnson in top 10 heading into weekend of Players Championship

Through round 2 of the Players Championship, Cedar Rapids native, Zach Johnson was tied for 9th.

The Drake University graduate fired three birdies and two bogeys for a 71 after round 2. He is four strokes behind tournament leader, Sergio Garcia, according to the PGA Tour leaderboard.

The 3-time John Deere Classic Champion Steve Stricker posted a 71 as well. He was tied for 13th place heading into the weekend.

Johnson and Stricker have combined to win the last four John Deere Classic Championships.
