A fight between target shooters and fishermen ended with the shooters allegedly firing at the fishermen.

Radio Iowa reports Newberry Wright, 21, and Alex Kinser, 23, were target shooting at the Farm Creek Wildlife area east of Carson, Iowa when fishermen yelled at them to stop because the sound of shots was scaring the fish.

Wright and Kinser were about to leave the area when one of them allegedly fired two shots at the fishermen.  The men were in a pickup truck when they were pulled over and arrested.

Deputies reportedly found a Smith and Wesson .500 Magnum handgun in the truck.

Wright was charged with operating while intoxicated, reckless use of a firearm and operating while revoked.  Kinser was charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, reckless use of a firearm and shooting over water.

Jail records show Wright was freed after posting bond and Kinser was still held in the Pottawattamie County Jail.
