The Rescue Run on Saturday, May 4, 2013 was a mud-run and obstacle course at Hofman Farms in Aledo, Illinois. The course was about a seven-miles filled with challenges. Proceeds from the run benefited the Reynolds and Seaton Volunteer Fire Departments.
The first obstacle runners had to tackle was “live wires” which gave participants a shock as they passed hanging lines. Others included “HazMat Hills” where runners trudged through muddy waters and climbed slick hills, “Hang Tough”- rings crossing a mud pit, where runners had to try to cross without falling in, and many more.
