Realtors in the Quad City area worked at various locations to take part in community-building activities.

You may have seen local realtors and their co-workers out cleaning by SouthPark Mall in Moline and near Middle Road on I-74 from 10 a.m. – noon in teal T-shirts on Wednesday, May 1, 2013.

The work was all part of Care and Share Day where people were out and about cleaning up highways, collecting trash along John Deere Road, and participating in activities with the Center for Active Seniors and Riverview Manor Nursing Home.

“The purpose of this day is to highlight the many ways that Realtors donate their time and passions to make our communities a better place,” said Amie Burke, Chair of the Public Relations Committee.
