Flooding is no joke in the Midwest. Flood waters have devastated homes, forced businesses to close or temporarily lose customers, slowed work on farms and shut down several roadways. While the rising waters have no doubt caused problems for many of us in different ways, there are few gifted photographers that can find the beauty in it all.

The skywalk over River Drive has attracted many locals and tourists who have wanted to catch a birds eye view of the waters covering parts of the Quad Cities. Many people took the opportunity to capture the sights on camera and submit them into WQAD.

While you can find several photos taken around the area on our website, I thought I’d share just a few that were sent into my Facebook page courtesy of David Hays.
