Snowstar in Andalusia is making snow Wednesday to open again Saturday.

Never before has the company made snow on the first day of spring, but it says it will be able to open up Saturday because of the frigid temperatures. This is the latest date that Snowstar has stayed open since 1984.

Crews have already made two to three and a half feet of snow, but crews are making even more of it Wednesday. They got in early Wednesday morning to start making it. Snowstar will open up its skiing, boarding, and tubing hills Saturday.

The park is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. The park is also offering discounted prices throughout the weekend.
