Brides in the Chicago area had the opportunity to buy the wedding gown of their dreams and give to a good cause.

As a part of a nationwide fundraiser called Brides Against Breast Cancer, wedding gowns were for sale in downtown Chicago on Friday and Saturday to benefit the charity.

The mission of Brides Against Breast Cancer is to help fund breast cancer support groups and education programs.

According to Brides Against Breast Cancer, the program has received more than 50,000 dress donations, with an estimated resale value of more than $4 million.

Gowns being sold were discounted anywhere from 25 to 85 percent.
