Sixth graders from St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Waverly, Iowa are pleading with the White House to avoid canceling public tours.

The students were scheduled to visit the White House on Saturday, March 16, 2013.

The students posted their plea in a short video on Facebook.

“Their tour has been suspended because of the budget issues in Washington D.C.,” the post says.

It was previously announced that White House tours will stop March 9, 2013 in response to budget cuts for the sequester.
