A second egg is in the eagle’s nest at Alcoa’s Davenport Works.
The second egg appeared at about 6 p.m. Sunday, February 10, 2013.
The first egg was laid at about 2:30 p.m. Thursday, February 7.
A blog dedicated to the Alcoa nest says a third egg, if it is going to happen, will likely appear before Valentine’s Day.
Liberty and Justice occasionally leave the nest but one of them is always nearby.
Average incubation for eagle eggs is about five weeks.
