The live stream from a camera monitoring eagles at the Alcoa Works in Davenport, Iowa was ranked among the most interesting sites on the web.

The list was produced by, which helps users find live streaming video of hundreds of topics and locations. 

Alcoa’s EagleCam had more than 12 million hits in 2012. 

“The camera is helping to educate people on the resurgence bald eagles are having in this part of the country and it helps highlight our work to protect the environment here in Iowa and everywhere Alcoa operates,” said Rob Woodall, Director of Manufacturing at the Davenport Alcoa facility.
